How do I get started?

Each vendor who wishes to participate in the Haitian Community Organization Festival must complete a vendor application or for consideration. Once your application is received, you will be notified of your application status, including how to pay for your registration. We encourage vendors to apply early for faster notification. 

 

What is the date and time for the Haitian Community Organization Festival?

The Festival is on Saturday, July, 2022.

The Festival runs from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Complete all parts of the vendor form and return via email to gdaye53@gmail.com. Once you have completed the application, you will receive an email regarding your acceptance status.

What am I allowed to vend at my booth?

As a standard non-food vendor, you may distribute materials promoting your organization or sell products related to your organization. You may sell items related to your business or artistry.

 

If you are selling food for on-site consumption, please apply as a food vendor. You may NOT sell or distribute any food-related items or beverages including soda or water unless you are registered as a food vendor. Alcohol distribution is not permitted.

 

Music being played from booths will be monitored for volume to ensure our paid performers can be heard. If you have questions about food sales, please contact Gerald Daye via email gdaye53@gmail.com or call 773.226.4996.

What is your refund / cancellation policy? 

REFUND POLICY / CANCELLATION / NO SHOWS:

- 75% refund will be given with a written request received by May 15th, 2022.

- 50% refund will be given with a written request received by June 15th, 2022.

- No refunds will be given for any request received after June 15th, 2022.

 

Vendors understand that the Haitian Community Organization Festival has no control over the weather, acts of God, acts of terrorism, government intervention,  COVID-19 restrictions, or any other cause that may prevent, alter, and/or interrupt the Festival.

 

Participants shall hold the Haitian Community Organization, Inc. (HCO) harmless for any losses that could arise because of such an event.

 

The Haitian Community Organization, Inc. (HCO) does not refund fees due to weather or cancellation of event due to COVID-19.
